Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

The short version

Your images never leave your device. All compression happens inside your browser, and we operate no server that receives, processes, or stores them. We don't require an account and we don't ask for personal information.

1. Images you compress

KB Target is a client-side application. When you compress an image, the file is read by your browser and encoded by WebAssembly codecs running on your device. No image data is transmitted to us or to any third party. If you close or reload the page, the data is discarded from memory.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect, store, or process personal data through this website. We do not require registration and the compressor works without any account.

3. Cookies and advertising

The compressor itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking. We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising throughGoogle Ads Settingsand learn more inGoogle's advertising policies. Standard, privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics may also be used to understand overall traffic (for example, which target sizes are popular).

4. Third-party services

This site is served as static files from a content delivery network, which keeps technical request logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and operational purposes in the ordinary course of delivering the page. We do not share any personal information with third parties, because we never collect any.

5. Children's privacy

The service is not directed at children under 13, and since no personal data is collected from anyone, no data of children is collected either.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, highlight them on this page before they take effect.
